"Psycho" Sid vs. Shawn Michaels vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart
This is a 4 way elimination match for the WWF Championship. The last man remaining will be the champion. It goes by the same rules as the ECW version, when Chris Jericho, Too Cold Scorpio, Shane Douglas, and Pit Bull #2 battled for the t.v. Title.
In the pre-match interviews with each wrestler, they all said that their agenda was to win the gold. In addition, Shawn Michaels made it no secret that he wanted a piece of Sid. Meanwhile, Austin said it was a great opportunity to "kick the asses" of 3 men who have held the championship. Bret said he came back to win the title, and that he would do it tonight. Finally, Sid said he would win because, "I am the man, the master, the ruler of the world!" Suprise, suprise...
Interestingly enough, the first man introduced is Shawn Michaels. He comes out without his hat and usual ring attire, and does no dancing. He just starts calling everyone out. Next up is Austin, and he comes down looking even more focused than usual. As he gets into the ring, Shawn says something to him. Austin just tells him, "Shut up son, I'll whoop your ass all in due time!" Well, that causes Shawn to attack, and they start brawling on the outside. Finally, they are separated. That prompts the entrace of the Hitman. Austin forgets about Michaels and stares at Bret. Hart pays no attention, however, as he gives his glasses away and seems to be concentrating on The Heartbreak Kid. Well, we finally hear Sid's music, and the champion strolls down the aisle. Just as he steps over the top rope, he is greeted by a clothesline from "Stone Cold" which sends him back to the outside. Austin goes out and starts hitting Sid with the belt, telling him that he shouldn't be wearing the same type of leather
jacket as Austin is. Once again, Austin is restrained, and Sid is helped to his corner.
Well, we finally get the opening bell, as we start off with Austin and Michaels. Steve seems to be getting the best of Shawn for awhile, but then The Heartbreak Kid comes at "Stone Cold" with a flurry of moves before tagging Bret Hart. The Hitman is very much on his game, as he dominates Austin for about 3 minutes, and then goes for the Sharpshooter. Steve is able to tag Sid, who is now recuperated, though. Sid comes in and chokeslams Bret immediatly. He doesn't concentrate, however, as he mocks Shawn Michaels a number of times. Finally, Bret says, "You want him, you got him," as he tags Mr. Michaels. Sid attacks, but Shawn is impervious to his blows. Michaels hits him with the flying forearm, and then the second rope elbow drop. He goes to a corner to set up for the sweet chin music, but Austin tags himself in. Sid doesn't know this, so he goes for Shawn, but gets hit with The Stone Cold Stunner. Steve gets a two count, but Shawn makes the save, saying, "I want him!" So, Austin and Michaels
restart their brawl on the outside. The Hitman jumps in, seeing that he can kill two birds with one stone. Sid is still out in the middle of the ring.
When Austin goes for a chair, Bret cuts him off. This gives Michaels time to get back in the ring. It also restarts the ref's count, which was at eight, because Shawn isn't the legal man. That means the ref has to take him to his corner. Steve and Bret find their way back into the ring, and Austin is the legal man. He is really pissed, though, and goes after Bret again. The Hitman is ready to go at it, when Sid rolls up Austin. 1, 2, Kickout! It was really close, but "Stone Cold" is still in it. Sid now tags Shawn, who still wants the "Psycho," but reluctantly goes in. Steve and Shawn battle equally, back and forth, and then Austin tags none other than Bret Hart. Bret is relentless, he has been waiting for revenge for quite some time. We see one hell of a battle between the two. Shawn eventually gets him on the turnbuckle for a superplex, but Bret kicks him in the stomach and spins him around. Then he gets on The Heartbreak Kid's shoulders and does a victory roll. 1, 2, 3! Michaels is gone!
He is furious, and attacks the ref! Sid comes in and chokeslams him to calm him down, but it doesn't work! Shawn is right back up. Sid looks stunned, and Bret, thinking quickly, rolls him up and gets the pin. When Sid came in, he became the legal man.
Now we get a circus, with everyone going at it. It's a four way brawl! "Stone Cold" is knocked outside by a flying elbow courtesy of Sid. He gets a chair, and smacks Bret with it. The ref didn't see it because of Sid and Michaels, so in the confusion, Austin pins Bret and becomes the new champion! As he is leaving the ring, in which Sid and Shawn are still fighting, and where Bret lay unconscious, he says, "Austin 3:16 says I just opened up a can of whoop ass on three of the so-called greatest. Who's gonna beat Stone Cold? Nobody, son, because Sid, I am The Master, The Ruler of the World. And Shawn, I'll break your heart every damn time! Then there is the *censored* (s in front of hitman), your are the best there is and all that load of crap? I am, I'm the man with the gold, and that's the bottom line!"
Well, how about that for the first ever Outbreak Dream Match.
